Ninth Annual Motown Dinner & Dance Cruise Fundraiser

The ninth annual Motown Dinner & Dance Cruise Fundraiser was
held on Friday, August 16, on the Detroit Princess
Riverboat. This year’s awardee was The Arts Commission of
Greater Toledo. Marc Folk, executive director, and Jennifer
Jarrett, deputy director, were presented a monetary donation
of $1,500.00 for community programs for the arts.
It was perfect sunny evening with the Motown sounds of the
Detroit's own Prolifics soulful group. There were over 120
guests in attendance who enjoyed the festivities hosted by
The Social Butterfly - Donnetta Carter.
There was a full buffet of prime roast rib, baked chicken,
rice, roasted potatoes, lasagna, green beans, dinner rolls,
garden salad and, for dessert, pound cake with vanilla ice
cream with strawberries.
