Otswania – The Arts Arrangement Hosts Artists Guests
Lametria White, a/k/a
Neecheb, gathered artists, models, vendors and guests
together on Sunday July 28 for a gala event at The Truth Art
Gallery, providing “artists who need to express themselves,”
she said, with an opportunity to interact with students and
customers. Otswania, White’s group, held the event that also
featured body painting that produced video for social media.
This was the third event
produced by White’s group – she was both an artist and a
model – and assisting with the chores was Jodie Summers, an
artist, spoken word performer, community activist, who
served as the master of ceremonies.
A number of vendors – all
black owned business – offered jewelry, books, art and a
range of services to the prospective visitors.
