Attendees can expect to engage in an open forum, red table
talk style, to discuss the current climate of
acceptance/resistance, professionalism, and culture, while
wearing locs. There will also be an ask the loctician Q & A
session where consumers can get answers to their most
pressing questions and learn about trends and tips in
current loc care.
Consumer connections will also be made as LOC'D Toledo will
offer local handmade products and accessories like loc
jewelry for all stages of locs. Local locticians will be
available to schedule consultations and service appointments
on-site.
LOC'D is brought to you by local brand The Kitchen Salon,
providing over 12 years of natural hair culture through
education, activism and community events. Tickets are $10
per person available at Eventbrite.com or by calling
419-984-0395.
