Naturalista Photo Shoot 5.0 It’s a Spring Thing!

For the past four years
I’ve had the pleasure of presenting the Naturalista Photo
Shoot, celebrating the beauty of black women with natural
hair styles. Each year, natural women and girls are invited
to bring their smiles and personal style to a group photo
event hosted by CYTImages.
To make the occasion fun,
the photo shoots are held at different locations throughout
the city with a different theme and color scheme each year.
The event begins with a group photo followed by the women
being captured in groups of three or four.
For our fifth year, I
decided to do things a little different and host a smaller
group in an intimate studio setting. This year’s theme is
“spring flowers” and the color scheme pastels. In this
year’s photo spread, each Naturalista is showcased
individually while sharing her thoughts on being natural.
