I Dream
– The Kick Off
The Toledo Opera will be
presenting I Dream – a modern, rhythm and blues opera
recounting the final 36 hours in the life of Dr. Martin
Luther King, Jr. on April 6, 7 and 8 at the Valentine
Theatre. This will be the world premiere of the opera by
Douglas Tappin. On January 22, the Opera and the I Dream
Community Team (area board members) held their first event
at the ProMedica Steam Plant to promote the upcoming
performance.
