Lanaya’s 45th Brings Out Family and Friends on a
Frosty Night
The bitter cold temps
didn’t prevent Lanaya McDonald’s many friends and family
members from joining her at the Peacock Café for a 45th
birthday celebration on January 13. The celebration, “A
Little Black Dress Affair,” brought together more than 100
people, family members from out-of-town for example, despite
the cold weather.
McDonald, a licensed
mental health and drug and alcohol counselor and an Army
Reservist, is also a unit management chief at Toledo
Correctional.
The very busy birthday
girl was pleased not only with the turnout, but also with
the way the event was handled at the Peacock. As she noted
later. “Most of the milestones in my life have been there.”
