The Last Weekend Festivals
The final weekend of
August featured a number of festivals in the central city –
chief among them were those presented by the Smith boys –
Kenny Smith and his Lincoln/Detroit event and Robert Smith
of the African American Legacy Project’s Dorr Street Live.
Music was everywhere as was bountiful food, vendors and
school supplies giveaways.
