Letter From William White – Assistant Principal of MLK
Academy for Boys
Today, members
of the Toledo Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club stopped by
Martin Luther King Jr. Academy for Boys to present us with a
check for $500. MC Club President Earl Mack; Melanie Clark,
vice president and Lorinda McCaleb, treasurer, presented
their gift to [Principal] Willie Ward and me on behalf of
the Toledo Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers. The Buffalo
Soldiers have long been close supporters of our efforts at
MLK and the young men we serve and offered their donation to
help provide our students with materials, supplies and
activities to assist them in their academic and personal
growth. An extra special thank you goes out to the Toledo
Buffalo Soldiers for exhibiting their #KINGPRIDE. |
