Ruth Ashford’s Davis Building Fund Raiser

Ruth Ashford, candidate
for Toledo City Council’s District 4 seat, held a fund
raiser in April in the Dais Building in downtown Toledo. The
building is the site of a number of businesses such as
Sophia Lustig, Pam’s Corner and Salon Onyx. Salon Onyx and
owner/founder Alina Dunbar hosted the occasion.
Michael Barringer, spoken
word artist, provided the entertainment for the event.
Ashford, a longtime state
government financial and accounting expert, is making her
first run for elected office in the district in which she
has long resided.
