WGTE Public Media Hosts Peg + Cat = Fun!, a Free
Family Event at East Toledo Family Center

WGTE Public
Media invites families to the East Toledo Family Center,
1020 Varland Avenue, on Saturday, June 7 from 1:00 to 4:00
p.m. for Peg + Cat = Fun!, an afternoon of
educational, fun-filled, hands-on activities designed
especially for children two to eight-years-old.
The event is
inspired by WGTE and PBS Kids' new hit show, "Peg + Cat,"
which airs every day at 9:00 a.m. on WGTE Public Television.
Each episode of "Peg + Cat" follows the adorable, spirited
Peg and her sidekick Cat as they embark on adventures and
learn introductory math concepts and skills. |

Many of the
hands-on activities at WGTE's Peg + Cat = Fun! event
on June 7 will have a math-based focus, appropriate for
children two to eight-years-old.
Peg + Cat
= Fun!
is free and open to the public. Reservations are not
required.
SuperWhy!,
the star of another popular WGTE and PBS Kids ' show, "SuperWhy!,"
will be on hand throughout the event to meet his young fans.
