“Christmas is a special
time of the year for children all over the world. However,
for some children, they are enduing the harsh reality of an
incarcerated parent,” said Yvonne Gayly, one of the
organizers of the Ministry.
“The Angel Tree Ministry
was created to ensure these children experience the joy of
Christmas. Our congregation has embraced this mission. We
look forward to spreading joy and love to the children and
their caregivers each year. Pastor James H. Willis, Sr.
leads us in prayer as we embark on our journey to deliver
the gifts, his fervent prayer is for God to bless the
children and their families, so they may have the strength
and courage to overcome the challenges they face.” |
