Meet, Greet, Shop & Sing with DJ Miss T

On October 20, DJ Miss T (Tosha
Easter) organized a Meet, Greet, Shop & Sing at The Truth
Art Gallery bringing together vendors, artists and an
appreciative group of attendees for an afternoon of fun.
DJ Miss T coordinated the event, played positive,
encouraging music, and recited poetry. She also had karaoke
for the guests (as well as vendors) and passed the mic to
other poets in the building.
There was also a
well-received performance by Tony Stuart, singer. Others who
performed include: Spoken Truth, Rita, C.C. and her daughter
Savanna Lyric.

“Today’s event was so much fun,” said Tara Truner-Hughes of
Taharah’s Garden. “Entertainment of poetry, karaoke, and met
some wonderful down to earth individuals! I love going to
vending events! I love getting to meet new inspiring people!
There are so many people in this city With different talents
and you would never know unless you get out there and meet
new people. Thank you so much for inviting Taharah's
