Minority Business Showcase Connects Businesses with UT
Faculty and Staff

The University of Toledo
Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Supply Chain
Department hosted a Minority Business Showcase on Wednesday,
May 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Ingman Room of the UT’s
Main Campus Student Union.
Several dozen businesses
brought information to explain their services and products
to the hundreds of guests who attended the Showcase. The
goal of the event was to connect University of Toledo
faculty and staff with local businesses in certain
categories of goods and services in which there may be
department spending as well as personal spending
opportunities.
The UT Office of Diversity
and Inclusion operates the Minority Business Development
Center on the Scott Park Campus which offers free business
technical assistance, procurement assistance and
certification.
