Many residents in Lucas County central city are unaware of
the services and resources available to them.
To help support our community, you are cordially invited to
a special community meeting that will provide
an overview of resources available and introduce contacts
from agencies that serve the area. It is hoped that this
event will be a catalyst in joining efforts from Toledo
Urban Federal Credit Union with your agency and others like
it to reach out and educate the people in our community.
Time: 4:00 PM – 8:00 pm
Location: Woodward High School
701 E. Central Ave (Cafeteria)
Toledo, OH 43608
Tables will be provided at no cost to agencies/organizations
attending the meeting.
Our event aims to provide our community with a basic
understanding of the range of services and resources that
may support their quality of life for them and their
families. These services include, but are not limited to,
healthcare, disability compensation and pension, educational
and vocational support, home loans, and burial and memorial
We will bring together a range of people representing
agencies/organizations in our community to support and to
help the residents understand what agencies are already
providing in services. In order to maximize our efforts and
reach we hope you will come and by working together, we can
ensure that our community becomes educated and empowered.
If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to send an
alternate representative from your agency. Please feel free
to disseminate the invitation to your colleagues who may
have an interest as well.
