Same
fun! Same Tutoring! Same lunches (provided by Connecting
Kids to Meals)! Just a new location.
This
summer the free camps will begin with Vacation Bible School
from June 18-22. Students will learn that being on the move
means following the leader. The leaders for our Vacation
Bible School are Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Jesus and Paul.
Campers will follow them for a fun week of learning about
the many people God puts into our lives to lead us.
“Keep it
Movin” will be the Sports Camps this summer and will feature
lots of movement and sports. This camp will partner with
Robinson School for their summer camp and run from June 25
to June 29.
Staying
Healthy involves moving about and eating well. During the
week of July 9-13 the campers will be “Moving to Stay
Healthy” and will learn about healthy food, gardening and
exercise.
“Shades
and Rhythm” is the theme of the Art and Music Camp which
runs from July 16-20. The children will participate in
various art projects, visit the Art Museum, learn about
glass blowing, and be entertained by local musicians.
Budding artists will enjoy the fun of free expression.
The
Padua Center will team up with the Metroparks for a
Connection Camp from July 23-27. Learning about archery,
canoeing, doing crafts and having fun outdoors is the goal
of this camp.
