D’Vine’s focus in this
collection of poems is “about relations once they go bad,”
she told The Truth.
“The book was written,”
say the authors in their notes, “with every reader in mind
who has gone through a difficult marriage, hard times
dealing with a boyfriend or girlfriend, or someone who has
been mentally or physically abused.”
D’Vine was joined at El
Camino by numerous Toledo family members and friends to
celebrate the book’s publication and the start of the
author’s volume of work.
