TPS Holds Fifth Annual College Night

Toledo Public Schools hosted its fifth Annual College Night
on October 8, 2015 at the University of Toledo Scott Park
Campus from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Nearly 100 recruiters from local, state and regional
colleges, as well as representatives from various trade
industries, Career Tech programs and branches of the
military were on hand to answer questions from both students
and parents/guardians.
Organizers estimated that more than
2,000 area high school students attended this year’s event –
in addition to parents and guardians who were encouraged to
attend College Night with their student. Buses brought
students from the district’s six comprehensive high schools
to and from the event.
