Yes on Issue 3 has released economic projections for Lucas
County that show a significant amount of much-needed new tax
revenue for our neighborhoods. When the market fully
stabilizes in 2020, Yes on Issue 3 estimates that the new
green industry will bring an estimated $17.6 million in
annual tax revenue for Lucas County and its townships and
municipalities.
And that’s not all. One of the state’s 10 marijuana growth,
cultivation and extraction facilities will be located here
just outside of the Toledo city limits. Together, the grow
site along with dozens of retail licenses will create
hundreds of new good-paying jobs and business opportunities.
Hard work is at the heart of Lucas County. Northwest Ohio is
made up of some of the hardest-working people in America. We
are proud people who build, who create and who innovate.
That’s exactly why Issue 3 and the growing site investors
want to build businesses and help kick start new businesses
here.
We can help Toledo and make northwest Ohio a crucial part of
this new industry by making sure we vote yes on Issue 3 in
