Twenty young leaders under the age of 40 received a 2014 20 Under 40 Leadership Recognition Award on Tuesday, September 30 at the 19th annual 20 Under 40 awards ceremony.  They were selected by an independent panel of judges from a field of 115 candidates. Candice Harrison, director of Schools as Hubs at Scott High School, Treva Jeffries, principal, Scott High School and Craig Teamer, an assistant vice president and Special Assets representative at Huntington National Bank were among this year’s honorees.

The 20 Under 40 program focuses on individuals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their career and/or in the community. It is intended that the program will further motivate young leaders in our area. Since 1996, 380 young, community leaders have been recognized through the 20 Under 40 program.

Sponsors of the 2014 program include Eastman & Smith, Fifth Third Bank, Plante & Moran, Columbia Gas of Ohio and The Andersons.
