Twenty Receive “20 Under 40” Leadership Award
Twenty young leaders under the age of 40 received a 2014
20 Under 40 Leadership Recognition Award
on Tuesday, September 30 at the 19th annual 20
Under 40 awards ceremony. They were selected by an
independent panel of judges from a field of 115 candidates.
Candice Harrison, director of Schools as Hubs at Scott High
School, Treva Jeffries, principal, Scott High School and
Craig Teamer, an assistant vice president and Special Assets
representative at Huntington National Bank were among this
year’s honorees.
The 20 Under 40 program focuses on individuals under
the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their
career and/or in the community. It is intended that the
program will further motivate young leaders in our area.
Since 1996, 380 young, community leaders have been
recognized through the 20 Under 40 program.
Sponsors of the 2014 program include Eastman & Smith, Fifth
Third Bank, Plante & Moran, Columbia Gas of Ohio and The
Andersons.
